DAWV Got an Update!
We want this site to be an easy tool for you to find exactly what you need. This means we have decided to make it as accessible as possible. We have more pages for this reason.
So what did we do?
Table of Contents
1 A New Avatar
For a while, I have wanted to have a cohesive well-recognised logo. In collaboration with Terra, I have been able to achieve the logo I had imaged AND an avatar based on it!
This is really exciting news as our site gets more writers visiting, our brand will become more memorable.
Say hello to Booky, DAWV’s new mascot.
2 Start Here Page
You’ve come to the DAWV website, but what do they offer?
We decided to make a page showcasing what you are able to do, learn, get freebies and buy in one place. Whether you know what you are looking for and need to know where to access it or you are wandering around the site until you find the next useful thing, start here.
3 New Home Page
For DAWV’s new homepage, we wanted to show how we as a business can help you finish drafts, get published and make an income through our resources.
This is where the writer who is visiting can find information based on what they want to get out of writing. Picking one of three options:
- Write An Addictive Book
- Career Author
- Start Crafting – stuck with writer’s block
This will lead you to what will help you most in the moment!
We also wanted to show our FREE WORKBOOKS that help a particular and common problem amongst writers.
4 Write A Book Page
DAWV contains more than just articles to help your writing career, but we have created a space where you only want to see writing advice.
We have also included a Tag Cloud, these are keywords on the right sidebar to help you narrow down the article topics to your current needs.
Our sidebar also include links for you to:
- Claim freebies or ‘Write a Book in 7 Days‘ & ‘4 Tips to Get into the Writing Zone‘
- Search Bar
- DAWV Products
- Pinterest Account – to get ideas
- Recent Posts
5 Reads For You Page
At times, DAWV publishes lists of books to read for certain genres, for example, 15 Books Just Like Bridgeton.
To keep this a section people find when they want to read a new book, we created a new page when writers book lover mode is on.
6 Writing With An Illness
As an advocate for writers with illness and having Mulitple Sclerosis myself, I feel it was important to make this space.
There seems to barely be any people discussing life as a writer with an illness, rather, how to write a character with X. To combat the lack of helpful content out there I have created this page that:
- Post writing tips for mental & physical illness
- How to work with physical & mental symptoms when writing
- Guest posts of individuals experiencing illness & tips that work for them
7 Store
We have given a name change from resources to store, making the objective for this page clearer. We also continue to make products based on what our audience is seeking!
Contact us with your needs found at the bottom of our page. Visit our Kofi as a second option for buying AND more products.
8 Write For Us
Wondering how to contact us to write a guest post for DAWV?
We have made it that much easier!
Read our page to see if your idea would suit our content, then fill out our submission guidelines word document that shows you a fill-in guide of how to write each paragraph.
